Practise your English!
I’m sure you know how important for all people who study English to practice it. Experts give a good piece of advice how to learn a foreign language. 'Take every opportunity to use the language… speaking to foreigners in chat rooms, whatever and try to resist the temptation to translate everything word for word.' (Silvia, language teacher)
English club is one more chance to practise your English. So, you’re invited to visit the meeting of English Club «Weddings in different cultures» (3rd, April). We’ll listen to the stories about wedding ceremonies from Jordan and Thailand, discuss the stages of a traditional wedding in Britain. Will you prepare a description of any traditional wedding or a story describing a wedding you’ve been to, please?
Befor the meeting define the following words and phrases:
best man, bride, bridegroom, bride’s father, bridesmaid, church, guests, minister, a bridal suite, a bridal shower
Wait for you at 7pm as usual.
